Believe it or not Goa is a veritable paradise for 'Twitchers'. Best of all you'll find that the beach is a great place for birdwatching, so there's no need to trek too far. While you're here watch out for Kites, Sparrowlarks and Starlings and remember; of the 500 species of birds that visit Goa, most aren't seen in Europe at all.

Candolim features a beautiful, broad, golden sandy beach, backed by dunes and offering excellent watersports. Nearby Calangute is a bustling village resort set beside the beach. Baga offers a more picturesque setting with miles of golden sand and an ever-present street market.
