A quaint fishing harbour with quiet little coves to snuggle in - there could hardly be a better place for a snooze under the sun than Kassiopi. Still in many ways just a typical Corfiot fishing village, it has an earthy charm that means the daytimes are slow, with a lovely bay bounded by tavernas, shops and bars. For a change from the two central beaches, water taxis head for neighbouring beaches, boat excursions tour the northern coastline and, at night, things hot up with a few discos and lively bars to dip in and out of.
