Dubai is 'top-ten destination'

Dubai is one of the top-ten destinations for Brits fliying from Heathrow Airport, it has been revealed.
Heathrow Airport made the announcement while noting that the top-ten list has remained "fairly static" over the last few years.
According to the hub, New York is the number one destination while Dubai comes in at ninth ahead of Glasgow in tenth spot.
"Heathrow is different from a lot of smaller airports. It's used for transfers quite a lot, so about 35 per cent of passengers are transfer passengers, they don't even leave the airport," Damon Hunt, a spokesperson for Heathrow Airport commented.
Other destinations in the list included Paris, Dublin, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Edinburgh, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
London Heathrow Airport claims to be the principal airport for the city of London and the United Kingdom's biggest airport.
