Dubai to host tourism expo

A new tourism exhibition is set to take place in Dubai this month, it has been announced.
Gulfnews.com reports that in excess of 50 tourism developers will showcase projects at the Tourism Development Projects and Investment Market event.
Participants are said to include the Dubai department of tourism and commerce marketing, Nakheel, Dubailand, Falcon City of Wonders, Global Village, Bawadi, Aldar, Sorouh, Al Qudra, Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort and Tamouh.
"Tourism Development Projects and Investment Market will provide visitors [with] a preview of major upcoming tourism projects in the region, while drawing attention to key industry issues through special seminars," Frederic Theux, president of event organiser Reed Exhibitions Middle East commented.
Dubai is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates and is situated on the Persian Gulf coast.
It borders Abu Dhabi in the south, Sharjah and the Sultanate of Oman.
