Festival season in Majorca

Festival fever is sweeping Majorca, it has been reported, with a selection of cultural celebrations taking place on the island in the coming months.
Mallorca Farmhouses notes that between March and December, the Jazz Voyeur Festival will be taking place, with holidaymakers able to watch a selection of jazz concerts at the Palma Auditorium and Bellver Castle.
Performers such as Kenny Barron, Pee Wee Ellis, Barbara Hendricks, the Mississippi Mass Gospel and Diana Krall are among the names that holidaymakers are likely to see.
Jazz is very much the theme for this year's celebrations with the International Sa Pobla Jazz Festival and the two week Alcudia Jazz Festival are also scheduled to take place this summer.
Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, which also include Ibiza, Fuerteventura and Menorca.
