travel news - Travellers Pet Peeves Revealed
Travellers pet peeves revealed
March 27 2008
A new survey has revealed the things that most irk UK travellers.
According to the travel study by www.thetravelmagazine.net in conjunction with www.whichbudget.com, what most passengers find presses their buttons is when on short-haul flights the person in front reclines their seat leaving no room to move.
This was cited by 24 per cent of travellers as the thing they hate most about flying.
Meanwhile seat reclining also caused irritation to a further 21 per cent of people who found it frustrating when the seat in front was pushed back before they had time to finish their food.
Sharron Livingston, of www.thetravelmagazine.net, said: "Flying in economy can be stressful. Better designed inflight seating would solve the problem."
She added that travellers would appreciate "good old fashioned manners" on flights.
