Top acts to perform at Malta music festival

Top music acts including The Kooks, OneRepublic and Enrique Iglesias are set to headline an MTV music event in Malta on June 25th.
Around 40,000 people are expected to attend the event, which will take place in Il-Fosos Square in Floriana, with previous acts at the Isle of MTV festival including Snoop Dogg, The Chemical Brothers and the Black Eyed Peas.
MTV's Richard Godfrey commented: "For MTV, this is a great opportunity to work with a partner to produce and host the Isle of MTV summer music festival on an incredible island location, which is both exciting and accessible. It's a great venue to offer our viewers some of the world's biggest international artists."
For anyone going on a beach holiday to Malta this summer it is the perfect opportunity to do some star-spotting, with other performers said to include N*E*R*D and Lady GaGa.
With a rich history and stunning scenery, it is no wonder event organisers chose Malta as the place to host the concert. The island's attractions include the Megalithic Temples and stunning beaches such as Mellieha Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha.
