travel news - Tenerife Attraction Hosts Pink Floyd Tribute
Tenerife attraction hosts Pink Floyd tribute
June 26 2008
Music lovers looking to book last minute holidays this year may be interested in Tenerife, following the launch of a new show.
Pink Wall, running through the summer at Pleasure Island in Playa de las Americas, pays tribute to the big-selling British rock band.
According to Tenerife News, a team of nine band members and crew have been compiled to recreate all of the old favourites and ensure high-quality visuals are delivered.
After a year in the making, the show is set to take place every day except Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Pink Floyd are probably best known for their smash hit albums Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, both of which sold millions of copies worldwide.
The Wall was also made into a successful film, with Bob Geldof taking on the role of the main character Pink, and a world tour.
