Cruz in Lanzarote - though not on holiday

Actress Penelope Cruz has been spotted enjoying the sands of Lanzarote during a break from her busy work schedule.
Unfortunately, Cruz has little time to enjoy the stunning holiday destination as she is busying filming her forthcoming movie - Las Abrozas Rotos (The Broken Embraces), reports Sawf News.
Directed by Pedro Almodovar, the $15 million (£7.6 million) film sees Cruz playing a struggling Spanish actress in a thriller based on the traditional 50s American noir productions.
Filming started in May on the Canary Island and the Oscar-winning director is hoping the Spanish language movie will be ready for release at the end of March next year.
It is expected that the film will use many of Lanzarote's famous holiday hotspots as backdrops for the film including Famara in Teguise, El Golfo and the volcanic bowl in Yaiza.
Lanzarote's wide choice of sunny beaches make the island perfect for tourists seeking out holidays that offer the chance to relax and get away from the unpredictable British summer.
